Paradigm prepares people to own a home

GEORGETOWN, Ky. -- The Paradigm Foundation is a God-inspired, God-driven non-profit organization developed to aid individuals of all income levels in financial education, credit counseling and training in the art of home ownership.

The company claims its mission is to promote home ownership and financial stability in families through specialized financial training and support, as well as training in the art of home ownership and property care.

 

 

Programs

Paradigm is designed to benefit families based on their need.  It has several program options, each designed to address issues in the clients' financial, budgeting or credit situation. The initial home ownership counseling provides the opportunity to assess the family's situation and create a plan for financial stability and their future as a homeowner.

  • "Yes, You Can Own A Home"

Counseling services introduced by the Kentucky Housing Corporation and provided to Scott, Madison, Bourbon, Harrison, and Woodford counties in Kentucky by Paradigm.

  • American Dream Series

Financial literacy program for undergraduate students to prepare for a successful economic future.  "By 2001, a Nellie Mae study found college seniors graduated with an average of $3,262 in credit card debt." (Lexington Herald-Leader, October 17, 2004)

  • Private Financial Planning and Counseling

After attending the "Yes, You Can Own A Home" session, families are advised to attend additional free pre- and post-home ownership counseling sessions through Paradigm for support through the purchasing process.

Goals

  • To provide quality services to all people efficiently, honestly and fairly.
  • To educate potential home owners of all income levels in budgeting for a home, financial planning and the art of home ownership.
  • To help empower a market segment with purchasing power to accompany their desire and need to own a home.
