River Ministries moves into 4th home

On September 26, 2004, River Ministries met church for the first time at our new location at 106 Third Street in Richmond, KY. The interior of the small vacant storefront building had been decorated as a nails salon, but the business never opened. The price was right and so was the location near downtown and the Eastern Kentucky University Campus. So we rented it and moved in. It marks The River's fourth meeting site in its 4 ½-year existence, including two tenures at the Mayfield Elementary School Library. Our church also met for a time at the Main Street storefront that now houses Live Wire Coffee & Music. But even as we paint, and otherwise restore, our latest home, we show signs of outgrowing it as God continues to fill us individually and corporately to overflowing.
